Wreckers 1st at Chacho Duals

The Staples High School varsity wrestling time has won the John Chacho Duels Party Meet for the first time in 10 years. Staples Saturday defeated Fairfield Prep, Stamford High School, New Haven (co-op), Mahopac High School, and Shelton High School to win the crown. Fred Mills is the head coach of Staples. The tournament is named for John Chacho who was an educator and coach for multiple sports in Westport over the last 45 years.
